SURFING SUPERSTAR QUESTIONNAIRE


1.What was the weather like the day of the accident?

  The sky was clear and the sun was shinning.

         She was 13 years old.

         The shark bit her left arm and took it away.

         Because everything happened very fast.

A: Robots look like hi-tech toys.  They can provide important information after natural disasters such as hurricanes, fires and earthquakes.
3.What do rescue robots have?
A: Robots have cameras and microphones.
4.      What do rescue robots do after a hurricane?
A: Robots can scan rooftops for survivors and give information about the condition of roads.
5.What do ground robots do?
A: They can look for victims in places people can’t fit into or that are very dangerous.

6.What do robots in hospitals do?

They are used in operations, they are also used to help people with disabilities.


7.How robots help people with disabilities?

A: They help people who have missing limbs for many years.

 

8.        What is the robotic arm? Explain.

A:  it’s a device that can be controlled by thought, is still been developed by doctors and can help people with disabilities. With this, people can do things like picking up objects.

A: The robot Olympics take place every year. People from around the world who are fascinated by robots get together.


10.What can robotic creations do?

A: These are programs that can do all kinds of things such as run or kick a football.


11. What is Robot Wars?

A: It is a TV show that involves remote-cntrolled robot vehicles  taking part in games.


12. When was the first Robot Wars competition?

A: The first competition was held in August, 1994 in San Francisco, California.
