Freshmen Classes: Oral Presentations on x-games.

}Topic: X-Games.

1.Skydiving.

2.Skateboarding.

3.Bodyboarding.

4.Snowboarding.

5.Bungee jumping.

6.Freestyle motocross.

7.Freestyle Snowcross.

8.Bmx.

9.Outdoor climbing.

10.Free-diving.

11.Mountain boarding.


}Date: Starting on December 14th on.

}Groups: Students will work in groups of 2 or 3.

E: 3 groups of 3 people. 2 pairs. Total: 13.

F: 4 groups of 3 people. 1 pair. Total: 14.

}Length of the presentation: 6 minutes minimum.

}PowerPoint: Presented on a CD by December 13th. Only images allowed.

}All students must speak the same amount of time.


}Each group chooses 1 x-game. All groups should present a different sport.

}Each group will be responsible for collecting information necessary to fill 6 minutes.

}All groups will prepare their presentations in class on Friday 9th , Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th , presenting in their copybooks the written result of the work done. This will have a score included in the rubric that will affect the final evaluation of the Presentation. Those days the students must bring printed material, books or any publications containing information, which can be in English or Spanish.


Presentation must include:



}Introduction: What is an x-game.

}Name of the x-game.

}Rules or fundaments of the game.

}Equipment. (outfit)

}Places where is practiced.

}An x-game star. (Famous people on that x-game)

}A powerpoint presentation must be created along with the oral presentation and handed in on a CD the third day of the preparation of the presentation.

}Time of the presentation: 6 minutes minimum.

Sophomores: Oral Presentations.

}Topic: Holidays and Festivities around the world.

a)Christmas.

b)New Year’s eve.

c)Independence Day. (Chile or U.S.A.)

d)Valentine’s day.

e)Thanksgiving day.

}Date: Starting on December 13th on.

}Groups: Students will work in groups of 3 or 4.

A: 3 groups of 3 people. 2 pairs. Total: 13.

B: 4 groups of 3. 2 pairs. Total: 16.

C: 5 groups of 3 people. 1 pair. Total:17.

D: 4 groups of 3 people. 2 pairs. Total: 16.

E: 4 groups of 3 people. 2 pairs. Total: 16.

F: 5 groups of 3 people. 1 pair. Total: 17.

}Length of the presentation: 6 minutes minimum.
