Oral Presentations. Olympic Games.


TOPIC:

Great moments in Olympic games history.

DATE:

Starting on Friday, June 22nd on.

GROUPS:

 Students will work in groups (3 students per group)

LENGTH OF THE PRESENTATION:

4 minutes minimum.

POWERPOINT:

Presented on a cd, only images .

PRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS
Great moments in Olympic history will be chosen by the students freely.
Each group will be responsible for collecting information necessary to fill 4 minutes.
All groups will prepare their presentations in class on Tuesday 19th  , Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st  ,presenting a written report of the work done. This will have a grade that will affect the final evaluation of the Presentation. Those days the students must bring printed material, books or any publications containing information, which can be in English or Spanish.
On Thursday 21st Powerpoint presentations will be checked and students will practise in front of the class.
PRESENTATIONS MUST INCLUDE:
Narrate the “important moment in Olympic history” .
Where and when it happened
Biography (Birthdate, birthplace with map)
Achievements

CATEGORIES TO BE EVALUATED:
Pronunciation.
Preparedness.
Contents.
Personal appearance.
Creativity.
Grammar.
Answer questions
